フェルトアーティストの菅原 由貴さんとのコラボ作品。
「虎が障子を突き破ってくる額を創りたいんですけど、そんなこと出来ますか？」
初めてお話しをうかがった時、これは楽しい作品ができると直感しました。
普段は絶対破いてはいけない障子をわざと破くのはある意味難しく緊張したのを覚えています。
フェルトのリアルな虎は本当に素晴らしかった。
This is a collaboration with Yuki Sugawara, a felt artist.
She asked me, “I want to make a frame with a tiger coming through a shoji screen, can you do that?”
When I first heard about this project, I knew it would be a fun project.
I remember how difficult and nervous it was to deliberately tear up a shoji, which is not normally allowed to be torn up.
The realistic felt tiger was really amazing.
